02/09/2017 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-11(c) ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. (1) All dwellings and dwelling units shall be provided with electrical service. Electrical facilities connected to or in any building or structure are to be maintained hazard-free and in a state of good repair. The electrical system shall be free from such hazards as bare wiring; overloaded circuits or services; equipment not properly grounded; over-fused circuits; misuse of wiring, including the use of extension cords in lieu of permanent wiring; non-approved wiring; and wiring exposed to moisture or extreme heat. Broken, loose, frayed, inoperable, defective or missing portions of the electrical service, lines, switches, outlets, fixtures and fixture coverings shall be repaired or replaced. (2) All electrical equipment, wiring and appliances shall be installed and maintained in a safe manner and in accordance with all applicable laws.

Every dwelling or dwelling unit shall have an adequate potable water supply. Every plumbing fixture, water and waste-pipe, and gas connection shall be properly installed in accordance with all applicable laws and maintained in good and sanitary working condition so as to prevent structural deterioration or health hazards, and are to be free from leaks and obstructions.

02/08/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VINDIOLA Approved Emergency call-out from Tucson Fire and TPD house fire. Arrived on scene met with TPD officers still on site tenant of unit which is in the manager unit at a trailer park was arrested and put in for mental health evaluation. Fire involved the exterior wood fence around the front of the unit, no major damage to the fence and no damage to the main structure. TPD still had control of the unit was allowed in by them, noted front door was not able to be locked two broken windows at front of structure. In the interior first room was the living room exposed Romex at ceiling level not an issue however open junction boxes in living room and 1st bedroom along with missing faceplates to outlets at floor level. Moved into the kitchen stove was unplugged, under sink however there was no piping or trap so water was leaking on the floor. Moving into bedroom behind kitchen found again exposed wiring at ceiling level however exposed Outlets at floor level from there moved into restroom where I did see water leaking from the toilet. Owner stated toilet was not operational, and he was going to replace toilet a couple weeks ago however tenant chased maintenance off with a knife. Moving into the laundry room found wiring coming out of the wall not in junction box and not terminated correctly. Because of the Hazardous conditions with the electricity and the leaking plumbing in the kitchen and restroom power was shut off at Breakers to the structure and water valve was shut as well to stop further leaks in the interior. Because of lack of utilities this property will be condemned a notice of violation will be issued to property. Owner to repair the violations in the interior. Owner will also move to secure the broken windows in front as well as the front door and have an electrician remove the breakers to the structure all done today. TJ from maint on site and started working on front door, and will move to boarding windows. Met with office manager at owners place of business signed all my paperwork and copies were given, will do a more comprehensive NOV and mail it out to her.
03/21/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VINDIOLA Approved Arrived on site and met with workers on site finishing up last minute touches on unit. All electrical hazards had been abated and sink had been reattach to plumbing system and was operational, proper termination of a line coming out of the wall in the laundry room was taken care of at this point will move to close out case
