02/16/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved REVISITED SITE, MET WITH OCCUPANTS, THE TRAILER THEY WERE LIVING IN WAS VERY OLD, AS I WALKED THE TRAILER I FOUND MULTIPLE MINIMUM HOUSING CONDITIONS, ALOT OF THEM WERE ELECTRICAL ISSUES / EXPOSED WIRING, INCORRECT BOXES, ADDED LIGHT FIXTURES-WIRING-SWITCHES, SUB PANELS IN BATHROOMS. OVERLOADED CIRCUITS, EXTENTION CORDS THRU OUT. AFTER CHECKING THE INTERIOR I CHCECKED THE PANEL PROVIDED FOR THE FOUR TRAILERS. THE POST TO SECURE THE PANEL WAS VERY WOBLEY, ADDED CIRCUITS TO EACH TRAILER, NO PEDESTALS, NO PERMITS FOR ANYTHING, TRAILER REWIRED ON THE OUTSIDE. DOUBLE LUGGINGM JUMPER FROM GROUND TO NUETRAL. THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WAS HAZARDOUS FROM THE SERVICE PANEL TO THE TRAILERS. OCCUPANT CONTINUED STRESSING THAT HIS WIFE HAD A BABY ON THE WAY AND WANTED TO BE SURE THE TRAILER WAS SAFE. I CONTACTED RICK SALDATE EXPLAINED THE UNSAFE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AND THEN PROCEEDED TO SET UP A INSPECTION WITH RICK HOLLANDER.
02/16/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved VISITED SITE, AN OLDER TRAILER WITH A BEWARE OF DOG SIGN ON FENCE. KNOCKED ON TRAILER SEVERAL TIMES BUT RECEIVED NO ANSWER, SPOKE WITH NEIGHBOR WHO INFORMED ME MAINTANENCE PERSON WAS LIVING IN THE FRONT HOUSE. AREA WAS FENCED WITH NO TRESPASSING SIGNS ON THE FENCE AND GATE. HAVE NO CONTACT NUMBER FOR THE OWNER, NEIGHBOR UNABLE TO COME UP WITH OWNERS NUMBER. CALLED OCCUPANT, LEFT A MESSAGE.
03/30/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE GOODMAN Approved SPOKE WITH RICK SALDATE, INFORMED HIM THE TWO FRONT UNITS HAD SERVICE UPGRADES, PERMITS FINALED AND STRUCTURES RE OCCUPIED. EXPLAINED 4 REAR TRAILERS ARE STILL POSTED AND REMAIN VACANT, AND TPD OFFICER HOULD CONTINUES TO MONITOR UNITS. ASKED RICK HOW TO PROCEED, RICK STATED C/E NO LONGER NEEDED TO MONITOR THE CASE TO GO AHEAD AND CLOSE CASE, STATED C/E CAN ALWAYS REOPEN A CASE IF REQUIRED. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
