08/17/2016 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-4. PERMITS REQUIRED. Unless otherwise exempt pursuant to section 301 of the Administrative Code, as adopted by reference per section 6-1 of this Code, or pursuant to any other ordinance or statute, no building, structure or building service equipment regulated by this chapter or by the technical codes adopted by the city shall be built, erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a permit first has been obtained from the building official in the manner provided in the administrative and building codes adopted by the city. The purpose of a permit is to ensure that all construction is inspected by qualified City of Tucson personnel as directed by ordinance to verify compliance with city codes. Failure to obtain proper permit with inspections and approvals shall deem the construction to be unsafe.

08/17/2016 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Went to the site due to an architect came to the office for a report for a fire on the property. Met with the manager and she showed the unit. Found where a couch had a fire in the living room area near the fire place and had heavy smoke damage through out the interior of the unit. The fire was on 4-19-16 and no vent hole was cut in the roof. At the time of the inspection found where all the drywall has been removed from the walls and ceiling through out. All the wood framing has been painted with a sealer for smoke or smell on the wood. All the electrical is still in place and appears to have no damage from the heat or the fire but it is all painted with the sealer. All the floor covering has also been removed. Will do N.O.V. RV.
10/31/2016 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The permit T16CM06706 has been issued on 9-8-16 and the last inspection was on 10-26-16 and still needing correction. Work is still being done. Due to the permit being issued, will be closing the case. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
