02/04/2016 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VALDEZ Approved THE PARKS MASTER METERED SYSTEM HAS TWO SERVICE LOCATIONS. ONE OF THE PARK'S SERVICE LOCATIONS IS NEXT TO THE LAUNDRY ROOM. THIS SERVICE HAS MULTIPLE DISCONNECTS ALONG WITH A GUTTER BOX WITH MISSING HARDWARE. THIS EQUIPMENT IS BEING SUPPORTED BY A DILAPIDATED AND DETERIORATING FREE STANDING WOOD FRAMED/ POST STRUCTURE. ADDITIONAL SUPPORT METHODS HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED TO PROVIDE STABILITY TO THE DETERIORATED AND DILAPIDATED STRUCTURE, ALL THESE SUPPORT METHODS ARE FAILING ONE OF THE POSTS IS SO DETERIORATED DUE TO WOOD TO EARTH CONTACT. ALL THREE POSTS ARE FAILING TO SUPPORT THE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT. THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE HAS LEANED OVER TO ONE SIDE. THE WOOD CABINETRY WAS DESIGNED AS AN ENCLOSURE TO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AND NOW IS SO DILAPIDATED IT NO LONGER PROVIDES PROTECTION TO THE EQUIPMENT. THE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT HAS SIGNS OF DETERIORATION THERE IS RUST ON THE EXTERIOR AND REAR OF THE DISCONNECTS WHICH IS PREVENTING AN EFFECTIVE AND SAFE GROUND FAULT PATH TO EARTH. THE ELECTRICAL METAL CONDUITS WHICH RUNS FROM THE EQUIPMENT TO UNDERGROUND IS UNDER A GREAT DEAL OF STRESS DUE TO THE FAILING WOOD SUPPORT SYSTEM LEANING OVER. THE CONDUIT IS AIDING IN SUPPORTING THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AND THE WOOD STRUCTURE. THE ELECTRICAL PANEL CIRCUIT DIRECTORY IS NOT LEGIBLE OR DISTINGUISHABLE FROM ONE ANOTHER FOR PROPER LABELING. THERE ARE CLEARANCE VIOLATIONS. RUST IS PRESENT ON TERMINAL LUGS WHICH HAVE RENDERED THEM BEYOND USABILITY. THERE ARE MULTIPLE WIRE TERMINATIONS IN THE SAME TERMINAL LUG. THE DOOR TO ONE OF THE DISCONNECTS CAN NOT FULLY OPEN. THE CURRENT PLACEMENT OF THE STRUCTURE ALSO BLOCKS THE PANEL TO THE LAUNDRY ROOM THERE IS NO ACCESS. THE SECOND SERVICE EQUIPMENT IS A 200 AMP SERVICE. THE LOCATION IS IN SPACE 10 NORTH OF THE PARK. THIS SERVICE WAS DAMAGE BY FIRE AND IS A TOTAL LOSS. NOTE: THE MANUFACTURES INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT PRESENT OR UNREADABLE AT THE SERVICE DISCONNECTS AND THE DISCONNECTING MEANS.
