Description:

Previous inquiry taken from already pending case T15DV05097 9/29/15 Zoning Code violation: use of Limberlost "Emergency Only" access for shuttle and car access. In February of this year I filed a complaint for the same violation. Glenn Moyer found the zoning requirements for the property and that gate on Limberlost is to remain locked and used only for emergency access. Now that classes at the University have started, there is continuous traffic in and out of that access. Last night, I was behind the Northpointe shuttle (AZ license CJ57784) on 1st Ave. The shuttle turned right onto Prince, then left onto Mountain (my route as well). It sped down Mountain at over 35 mph (speed limit is 25mph) so I followed it. The shuttle turned left onto Limberlost and then turned right into Northpointe through the Emergency access. These shuttles are equipped with a device that opens the gate - use of this access has become normal operations for Northpointe and we in the Campus Farm Neighborhood want it to stop. We want the zoning conditions adhered to and until that gate is padlocked there is no guarantee that the owners and management will not continue to use this access point. This time I would appreciate a follow-up from Code Enforcement, which did not happen when I made the same complaint several months ago. Thank you for your assistance in keeping this traffic out of our neighborhood.
