| 08/21/2015 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | Met with the tenant and the water heater is not working due to lacking gas to the property. Did find yellow tags from S.W.G. and not able to turn the gas on due to issues with the water heater and the forced air furnace. The water heater and the forced air furnace are newly installed and did not find a permit for the new work which is required. The smoke detector in the hallway is not working but the bedrooms are working. The roof is leaking around the furnace area. The closet doors are not mounted or falling or not on the track. The exterior door is not sealed and able to see daylight when the door is closed. The water heater is missing the T.P.R. drain line and the vent is not connected properly. Have talk to the maintenance and he will try and address the issues given. Did advise that the N.O.V. will be sent to the owner and needs to get the gas on so the water heater will work. Hot water is necessary for sanitary conditions. Will do N.O.V. RV. |
| 09/08/2015 | INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE | VIDAL | Approved | The work to the furnace and the water heater has been completed. Still lacking the permit and the manager has been called to have the permit issued. He will call the contractor. Some work has been done and not completed. Did meet with the tenant and having trouble with the outlet in the living room area in the wall going to the hallway and the masonry wall by the door. Did call the manager to have those outlets checked. The next follow up date is 10-1-15 and will meet at that time. RV. |
