07/20/2015 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-4. PERMITS REQUIRED. Unless otherwise exempt pursuant to section 301 of the Administrative Code, as adopted by reference per section 6-1 of this Code, or pursuant to any other ordinance or statute, no building, structure or building service equipment regulated by this chapter or by the technical codes adopted by the city shall be built, erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a permit first has been obtained from the building official in the manner provided in the administrative and building codes adopted by the city. The purpose of a permit is to ensure that all construction is inspected by qualified City of Tucson personnel as directed by ordinance to verify compliance with city codes. Failure to obtain proper permit with inspections and approvals shall deem the construction to be unsafe.

WHO WALKED ME TO THE REAR OF THE LARGE METAL BUILDING WHERE I DID FIND A MEZZANINE THAT HAD BEEN CONSTRUCTED IN THAT BACK AREA. ORIGINAL METAL STRUCTURE WAS APPROXIMATELY 20 FT IN HEIGHT AND PART OF THE EXISTING ORIGINAL STRUCTURE, FLOOR AREA AND STAIRS CONSTRUCTED BY THE OWNERS WHO DO METAL WORK, THE CONCRETE FLOOR AND ELECTRICAL WAS SUB CONTRACTED. DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE STRUCTURE I CONTACTED DAN QUINN TO TRY TO SET UP A MEETING AT THE PROPERTY, INSPECT AND UNDERSTAND WHAT DSD IS LOOKING AT PRIOR TO ISSUING THE NOV .
11/04/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE GOODMAN Approved SPOKE WITH DAN MEEBOER (SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT) OF DESERT METALS. DANS STATED A PERMIT HAS NOT YET BEEN PERMIT DUE TO ARCHITECT BRUCE WOODRON NOT YET COMPLETED. A SOIL TEST HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR THE SECOND WEEK IN NOVEMBER, HOPING AFTER TEST RESULTS ARE COMPLETED THEY CAN FINISH UP WITH THE PLANS WILL BE COMPLETED AND PERMITS OBTAINED.
