| 05/29/2015 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | Received call from communication that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the fire units were leaving the site. The fire investigators were finishing the investigation. The owner is out of state and has been notified that the fire was on the property. The owner is on his way and will be in Tucson tomorrow late afternoon and will call when in Tucson. The fire started on the exterior of the structures and due to having dry vines in the area, the fire carried to a wood frame shed by the power pole on the main structure of building B. The roof had pine needles that were piled on the roof that started to burn. The fire carrried on the roof from the front to the rear of the structure and burning into the interior of the structure. The vines were through out the exterior of the structure and all were burned and the fire also carried into the interior of the building. The fire got into the attic area and carried through out. Had a wash room with a storage room that was burned. Had a rear unit that was separated from the house portion that was being used for a repair shop for painos or musical instruments that was burned in the storage room area in the back of the unit. This structure has several propane tank that were placed on the exterior of the structure and the one in the west side was involved in the fire. The ceilings have been pulled down to check for the fire and check the damage of the burning materials through out. All the electrical system has been burned or has heat damage from the main electrical panel to the sub-panels. The conductors lines have all been burned that control the supply of power to the structure and all the of building B-1. Building B-1 has no fire damage but has no electrical to the unit due to was powered from the burned building. The utility pole needs to be replaced due to burned in the fire and leaving all the other units with out electrical. The water meter valve had to be tuned off at the street due to the water lines have several broken fitting where they came apart due to the heat and the solder undid on the burned structure. All the units were vacated due to lacking the electrical and water to the units and the Redcross was called for placement. The electrical was also tunred off at 3915 E. Kleindale Rd where 5-units were with out electrical due to the power was coming from the pole that burned. Juan Valdez was called to the site to take care of the property and the issues with the electrical. They did have water. Did Notice to Vacate to all the tenants for the separate units. Did call Arcaiden Industries to have the openings secured on the house, wash room and the wood frame shed. Ammunition was found in the wood frame shed and T.P.D. was called to the site to check and was given to the owner who lived in unit A which was a trailer. Each tenant signed the paper work and the manager Martha signed the Indemnification for all the unit to be secured. Will check in 10 days. RV. |
