03/29/2015 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Received call from communication and T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units still on scene looking for hot spots. The investigators on site looking for the cause. The house was a rental and the owner is on the site. The fire started in the rear of the house near the middle of the house. The fire did enter the attic area and all the electrical is a total lost. The sub-panel has been burned on the exterior of the house. Does have a main electrical panel and has been upgraded to new and that has not been damaged. TEP has booted the meter leaving no power to the property. The gas line has a leak in the rear room. SWG did pin the meter off and when ready for the gas to be turned back on, the meter will be moved toward the house under a program from SWG. The windows in front have been broken from the heat of the fire and the rear windows have been burned. The owner and neighbors will be securing the property once the investigation is complete and the plywood is on site. The house has heavy smoke damage through out and the fire did burn a hole through the roof. The AC package unit is damaged by the fire. The fire did damage to 3-bedrooms, closet, bathroom in the rear near the middle of the house and the hallway. The exterior doors all able to lock including the garage area. The tenants will be removing items out of the house and working with the owner to get back into the house. The Redcross is on site for the placement. SWG still on site due to removing the gas from the line before placing the pin due to the line is under a concrete slab. Will go back and take pictures once the property has been secured. RV.
10/22/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The house is vacant and secured. Work is being done and the trusses have been removed, the drywall has been removed and some of the walls on the interior have been removed. A permit has been approved, T15CM04191 on 10-6-15 and waiting for a payment to have the permit issued. Did call the contractor that was on the site before on one of the inspection and they are not part of the work that is being done and not working with the owner. Did call the owner and left a message. Will check in 10 days. RV.
