05/01/2014 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The owner called and met at the site with an electrician. Did show where the issues of concern were on the electrical flickering. The areas were in the bedroom on the west side and the bathroom. The electrician did check the service panel for the unit in the bedrrom and found 5-loose neutrals. They were tightened and with the other wires check for the proper contacts. Did check the outlets in the bedroom near the living room and found 2-outlets where one has burning where connected to the outlet where loose and the other outlet has loose wiring and not the electrical continue to the other outlets. The outlets were changed to new ones and once they were installed all the power was re-stored. While checking the outlets if they were working, found where the outlets have been painted and the grounding portion has been filled with paint or not allowing the tester to enter for the proper connection to test. Did give the outlets that were removed to the owner and the owner will be changing all the outlet. The electrician will make arrangements to come back to complete the changing of the other outlets including the GFCI in the kitchen and the bathroom due to the test button is painted and getting stuck to turn the power back when testing. Has other issues with the doors not sealed for weatherization, the window in the living room not the proper slider for the window leaving the window not sealed. The master bathroom shower is leaking. Will do N.O.V. RV.
05/01/2014 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Met with the tenant and the main electrical disconnect has been replaced with a permit due to had burning in the panel for both units. The electrical outlets have issues with not working or partially working. While moving the outlets around to check for power, the outlets started to work. Did talk to the inspector that did the inspection and he did not go inside the unit. The outlets that were checked were the bedrooms on the west side. Will call the owner and stop by the house. RV.
