Applicant:

RINCON MOBILE HOME PARK VILLAGE LP

Description:

Men cutting trees, bulldozing vegetation, and leaving piles of debris and torn up desert behind Rincon MHP. The park managers said they arranged for it for fire safety. They have been asked twice if they had a permit or something from the city to say this destruction of desert and habitat was ok. If they do have permission from the city and plan to clean up and smooth out the "fire break" later, fine. There is already a road and wide trails that are 40-50 feet from the homes and the vegetation and trees are green with many "waterways" for water flow from the monsoons. Caller concerned if they take all the vegetation along the back fence there will be more flooding problems. Main concern is for the environment in this area. Hope someone from the City will check out these plans by the park.
