This unit will need to be vacated. Unit lacks a smoke detector. Wiring for the cooler and ceiling light was not done to code, is not protected or supported on the exterior. The ceiling lighting fixture is loose. Unit 10 lacked a smoke detector and has a loose electrical outlet. The 100 gallon gas water heater for Unit 8's building was not installed to code; a coffee can is being used as part of the ventilation system, the bottom door vents are covered; TPRV valve is not vented correctly. The laundry room has several uncovered outlets and J boxes with exposed wiring. Room may have been convered from a carport without permits. Washer is not hooked up to both hot and cold water. Tenant from Unit #1 wants an inspection conducted for loose wiring; he was advised we would schedule a new inspection for the unit. Francine at unit 9 indicated units 4 & 5 also lacked kitchens, but only 4 & 8 were occupied. |
