03/02/2011 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-13(d) DUTY TO REMOVE WEEDS AND REFUSE FROM ABUTTING SIDEWALKS, STREETS AND ALLEYS UPON NOTICE. Upon receipt of notice served pursuant to section 16-45, the owner, lessee, tenant or occupant of any premises shall remove from the premises and the abutting portions of contiguous sidewalks, streets and alleys, all weeds, garbage, debris or other refuse which may endanger the health, safety or welfare of the persons in the vicinity of such premises. This duty extends to and includes any abutting sidewalk area and one-half (½) the width of abutting alleys, from the property line to the center line of the alley.

03/02/2011 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT DCOX Approved There were found some dog turds in the alley behind this residence. In the rear yard was a dog, most like the source of said turds however DNA testing would be necessary to prove said turds were the actual excrements of said dog. The turds were approximately 15-20 in number and strewn slightly about over an area of approximately 5 square feet. Due to the hideous nature of this crime I will notify the owner of the property where said dog and turds are located that the turds need to be collected and properly disposed of.
03/25/2011 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE DCOX Approved Upon secondary inspection that area of concern, also possibly know as "Dog Turd Alley", was found to be turdless. No further action necessary at this time .... my work is done here.
