The purpose of a permit is to ensure that all construction is inspected by qualified City of Tucson personnel as directed by ordinance to verify compliance with city codes. Failure to obtain proper permit with inspections and approvals shall deem the construction to be unsafe. |

THE BASEMENT HAS A STAIRWELL RISE THAT EXCEEDS 7 INCHES AND THE RUN IS LESS THAN 11 INCHES. ONE FLOOR JOIST WAS NOTCHED BEYOND ONE-SIXTH OF THE DEPTH OF THE JOIST. ONE 2 X 4 STUD IS BEING USED AS A POST TO SUPPORT THE STAIRWELL BY MEANS OF USING ONE BOLT TO THE FRAMING CROSS MEMBER OF THE STAIRWELL. TWO CMU WALL WERE ERECTED PERPENDICULAR TO THE FLOOR JOIST SYSTEM. THERE ARE THREE 2 BY MEMBERS ACTING AS A BEAM IN THE CENTER OF A 20 FOOT SPAN, UNABLE TO DETERMINE IF THE CMU WALL ARE FULLY GROUTED. |
