10/21/2009 INSP - FULL JLONGO Correction Required Per: IFC 2006 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. When I arrived the apartments Sprinkler System was out of service due to a broken sprinkler head. I made contact with a property rep and ordered them to place a fire watch and to contact a fire protection company to bring their system back up on-line. I informed fire alarm of the down system. After several hours I was contacted by the property rep and was told that the system had been brought back up on line. I verified this with united fire.
