10/08/2009 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT RVIDAL Approved Met with neighbor on concerns of moisture in dirt next to masonry patio wall and closeness of corner of house next to patio wall. She checked the irrigation system on her side and had no leaks. Neighbor was draining pool one morning and she checked to see what noise was and pool was being drained or back wash and water was hitting wall and holding in area. Water was saturating in area before going past exterior wall to front of property. I met with Gary and saw drain line for backwashing or draining. Has pvc pipe under concrete slab then connected to plastic line for draining pools. Line does not go past masonry wall in front. Water is retained then once area is full will go past gate opening seeping through. Gary was going to get with pool person due to found where neighbor has issues with water seeping is where pvc stops then connects to plastic line. Will check in 14 days.
10/28/2009 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE RVIDAL Approved Met with Gary and Joan. Had no leaks when back washing pool. Checked irrigation line and no leaks. Saw where pool was draining when backed wash and will extend line to other side of wall. Tried to meet neighbor and no one home. Also called neighbor's cell with no answer. Violation abated, close case.
