Each door in a means of egress from a Group A occupancy having an occupant load of 50 or more shall not be provided with a latch or lock unless it is panic hardware or fire exit hardware. (exception - 1008.1.8.3 states places of religious worship and having an occupant load of less than 300 may have a key operated lock on the egress side, providing you place a sign adjacent to the door that states " These doors to remain unlocked while the building is occupied" 1008.1.2 Doors shall swing in the direction of egress travel where serving an occupant load of 50 persons or more. CORRECTION: YOU WILL:1) HAVE YOUR DOORS MADE TO SWING OUT 2) YOU WILL PLACE A SIGN ABOVE THE MAIN EXIT STATING " THESE DOORS TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHILE THE BUILDING IS OCCUPIED" 3) YOU WILL REMOVE THE THUMBOLT LOCK ON YOUR SECOND EXIT THAT ALREADY HAS PANIC HARDWARE INSTALLED.

A means of egress shall be free from obstructions that would prevent its use, including the accumulation of snow and ice. CORRECTION: MOVE THE ORGAN SO THAT THE EXIT DOOR HAS A CLEAR PATH OF TRAVEL TO IT AND MAINTAIN THAT PATHS WIDTH AS THE SAME AS THE DOORS WIDTH.
