| 12/13/2007 | INSP - FULL | TSISTERM | Approved | December 13, 2007 Al Hernandez and Luis Martinez 3650 S. 6th Ave. Tucson, AZ 85713-6113 Dear Mr. Al Hernandez and Mr. Luis Martinez, On 11-07-07, a fire prevention inspection was conducted at 3650 and 3652 S. 6th Ave. On 11-26-07, a fire prevention re-inspection was conducted at 3650 and 3652 S. 6th Ave. On 12-13-07, a fire prevention re-inspection was conducted at 3650 and 3652 S. 6th Ave. The following Tucson Fire Code Violation(s) was noted: 1). In the shop there are extension cords used as permanent wiring to power lights. This is a violation of IFC 605.5: 605.5 Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances. Please replace extension cord with approved wiring. This letter is to inform you that abatement of these Tucson Fire Code violations must be completed by 1-3-08. A re-inspection shall be conducted at that time to ensure compliance.
