02/12/2007 VIOL - FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS WCUMMING Correction Required 904.11.6.3 Cleaning. Hoods, grease-removal devices, fans, ducts and other appurtenances shall be cleaned at intervals necessary to prevent the accumulation of grease. Cleanings shall be recorded, and records shall state the extent, time and date of cleaning. Such records shall be maintained on the premises. The kitchen hood system baffles require routine cleaning to prevent the accumulation of grease.
02/12/2007 VIOL - FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS WCUMMING Correction Required 912.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. All fire department connections shall be periodically inspected, tested and maintained in accordance with NFPA 25. The fire department hose connections are missing caps to prevent debris and obstructions from being placed in them. Replace the caps.
02/12/2007 VIOL - MEANS OF EGRESS WCUMMING Correction Required 1006.3 Illumination emergency power. The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premise’s electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure, an emergency electrical system shall automatically illuminate the device. The emergency power system shall provide power for a duration of not less than 90 minutes and shall consist of storage batteries, unit equipment or an on-site generator. Emergency lighting was found to be inoperable when the test buttons were pushed. Repair or replace as needed.
