MR CAMPBELL MENTIONED THAT HE WAS CURRENT ON RENT, CALLED THE MANAGER SIDNEY SOMETIME IN MID JULY ABOUT THE ROOF LEAKING. SIDNEY REPLIED THAT THE ROOF WOULD NOT BE FIXED IN ANY WAY UNTIL AFTER THE MONSOONS. PICTURES WERE TAKEN OF THE ISSUES, MY FINDINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS: 1. ROOF LEAK IN S/W CORNER OF THE ONLY BDRM, EVIDENCED BY THE POPCORN CEILING FLAKING OFF THE DRYWALL AND DRYWALL TAPE PULLING OFF THE CORNER. 2. ROOF LEAK IN N/W CORNER OF BEDROOM EVIDENCED BY THE YELLOWING OF POPCORN CEILING AND "RIPPLING" PAINT ON WEST WALL NEXT TO THE BED. 3. LINOLEUM IN BATHROOM IS PULLING AWAY FROM WALL AND UP FROM THE FLOOR IN THE BATHROOM, IT APPEARS THAT CAULKING HAS BEEN APPLIED TO TRY TO KEEP THE LINOLEUM IN PLACE AND RE-APPLIED. TOILET HAS ALSO BEEN REPLACED EXPOSING OLD TILE OR LINOLEUM. TOILET NO LONGER COVERS AREA THAT OLD TOILET HAD.

10/16/2007 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE GGOODMAN Approved RECEIVED CALL FROM BILL CAMPBELL (TENANT) WHO MENTIONED HAD GOTTEN MY CARD AND WAS RETURNING MY CALL. I TOLD MR CAMPBELL THAT I NEEDED TO REINSPECT THE WATER DAMAGE. MR CAMPBELL MENTIONED THAT THE ROOF LEAK HAD BEEN REPAIRED AND THAT ALL REPAIRS HAD BEEN COMPLETED AND HE DID NOT FEEL I NEEDED TO COME BY AGAIN. I ASKED IF HE WAS SATISFIED WITH THE WORK DONE, MR CAMPBELL SAID HE WAS AND THOUGHT THE MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL DID A GOOD JOB. CHECKED WITH CARLOS PORTILLO, ASKED IF A REINSPECTION WAS REQUIRED IF THE TENANT DID NOT WANT US TO INSPECT. CARLOS SAID NO-TO LET IT GO IF THE TENANT ASKED WE NOT INSPECT. DNR HAS NO FURTHER ISSUES. COMPLIANCE CLOSE CASE.
