09/13/2007 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH TENANT BILL CAMPBELL WHO MENTIONED HE HAD 3 ISSUES BUT THAT ONE ISSUE HAD BEEN GOING ON FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. MR CAMPBELL MENTIONED THAT HE WAS CURRENT ON RENT, CALLED THE MANAGER SIDNEY SOMETIME IN MID JULY ABOUT THE ROOF LEAKING. SIDNEY REPLIED THAT THE ROOF WOULD NOT BE FIXED IN ANY WAY UNTIL AFTER THE MONSOONS. PICTURES WERE TAKEN OF THE ISSUES, MY FINDINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1. ROOF LEAK IN S/W CORNER OF THE ONLY BDRM, EVIDENCED BY THE POPCORN CEILING FLAKING OFF THE DRYWALL AND DRYWALL TAPE PULLING OFF THE CORNER.

2. ROOF LEAK IN N/W CORNER OF BEDROOM EVIDENCED BY THE YELLOWING OF POPCORN CEILING AND "RIPPLING" PAINT ON WEST WALL NEXT TO THE BED.

3. LINOLEUM IN BATHROOM IS PULLING AWAY FROM WALL AND UP FROM THE FLOOR IN THE BATHROOM, IT APPEARS THAT CAULKING HAS BEEN APPLIED TO TRY TO KEEP THE LINOLEUM IN PLACE AND RE-APPLIED. TOILET HAS ALSO BEEN REPLACED EXPOSING OLD TILE OR LINOLEUM. TOILET NO LONGER COVERS AREA THAT OLD TOILET HAD.
