Specifically, the non-listed devices on the fire alarm system are a concern to The Tucson Fire Department Fire Prevention Division. Currently a switch commonly found to turn lights on and off, is being used as an initiating device for the fire alarm system. Plans submitted require a Class A Fire alarm system. This is not a listed component of a Class A fire alarm system.
