ELOISA MENTIONED THAT LOURDES WAS USUALLY HOME ALL DAY. AGAIN ASKED SLOISA TO HAVE LOURDESPLEASE CONTACT ME. LOURDES SPEAKS SPANISH ONLY. NO PICTURES WERE TAKEN.
08/25/2005 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE GGOODMAN Approved VISITED SITE ON FOLLOW UP INSPECTION, BROUGHT INSPECTOR NAVARRO, C-17 WITH ME TO TRANSLATE AS TENANT SPEAKS ONLY SPANISH. WE FIRST VISITED OFFICE AT WHICH TIME I WAS INFORMED BY MANAGER DEBBIE BERNARDI THAT THE TENANT WAS SECTION 8, THAT AN INSPECTOR FROM SECTION 8 HAD BEEN OUT TO INSPECT AND FOUND ONLY TWO ITEMS THAT NEENED CORRECTIONS AS COMPARED TO THE MANY I HAD FOUND. I EXPLAINED TO DEBBIE THAT IF THEY WOULD INFORM ME PRIOR TO MAKING THE INSPECTION THAT THE TENANT IS SECTION 8, THEN I WOULD NOT HAVE TO MAKE AN INSPECTION, IT WOULD AUTOMATICALLY BE TURNED OVER TO SECTION 8 FOR THEM TO INSPECT AND MAKE ANY DECISIONS. VISITED TENANT, INFORMED HER THRU TRANSLATOR THAT I HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED THAT SHE WAS SECTION 8, AND BECAUSE SHE IS SECTION 8, HER UNIT WOULD NEED TO BE INSPECTED BY A SECTION 8 INSPECTOR, THAT MY INSPECTION BECOMES VOIDEDDUE TO FACT SHE IS SECTION 8. I INFORMED HER THAT I WOULD BE CLOSING MY CASE. WILL E-MAIL KEN MCDONALD, SECTION 8 HOUSING, AND KICK THIS BACK OVER TO THEM. DNR HAS NO JURISDICTION. CASE CLOSED!!
