05/30/2003 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE JCRAIG Approved I DID INSPECTION TODAY WITH THE TENANT IN APT #3, ALL ITEMS ON THE NOTICE AND ORDER HAVE BEEN ABATED AS REQUESTED BY THE C.O.T.------THERE ARE NEW ISSUES NOW, THE KITCHEN TILE HAS BEEN REMOVED IN SOME AREAS , SOME HAVE BEEN OVER-LAYED OF OTHERS AND IT SEEMS THAT THEY ARE REMOVEING THE TILE, I ASK THE TENANT WHY THE TILE WAS NOW DIFFERENT, SHE STATED THAT HER BROTHER-BROTHER-IN-LAW WAS GOING TO REPLACE WITH DIFFERENT TILE AND IT WOULD COST 400.00 , THE TENANT ALSO STATED THAT THE MAINT. PEOPLE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE UNIT FOR REPAIRS TO THE TILE, DUE TOO HER PENDING COURT CASE WITH OWNERS, I DID STATE THAT IF THE CITY REQUEST ITEMS TO BE REPAIRED YOU WILL HAVE TO LET THEM IN TO ABATED ALL ITEMS THAT THE CITY REQUESTED BE DONE, TENANT STATED NO, FENCE HAS BEEN ABATED, DOOR JAM IS SECURED, OUTLET ABATED. THE TILE WILL NEED TO BE A NEW ISSUE AND AND NEW NOTICE AND ORDER WILL FOLLOW.
