WAS OUT BECAUSE OF LEAK AND STATED THAT NO ONE SHOULD BE IN UNIT, THERE WAS ALSO ANOTHER LEAK IN UNIT 10 G UPSTAIRS, THAT HAD LEAK FOR A LONG TIME AND MAINTENANCE DID FIX LEAK IN UNIT AND EXTRACTED WATER FROM UPSTAIRS AND CLEANED UP THAT UNIT BUT DID NOTHING IN THE UNIT ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR WATER HAD SIT IN UNIT FOR A PEROID OF TIME WITH UNIT BEING CLOSED UP AND HUMIDITY THERE WAS GROWTH THROUGHOUT, MAINTENANCE STAFF WAS THERE TEARING DOWN ALL THE DRYWALL AND REMOVING IT, THERE WAS ALSO SHARP CARPET RESTORATION CO. THERE SPRAYING THE UNIT WITH RESTORE MILDEW STAT THROUGH OUT UNIT, RESIDENTS IN UNIT 10 F HAD BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT A WET SMELL FOR ABOUT A MONTH, RESIDENT STATED THAT THEY ARE NOT PAYING RENT FOR SEPT. BECAUSE MANAGEMENT WOULD NOT TAKE CARE OF THE SMELL FROM OTHER UNIT, AFTER TALKING TO MANAGEMENT KATIE,STATED THAT SHE HAS TRIED TO WORK WITH RESIDENT AND OFFERED THEM A TEMP. UNIT AND RESIDENT REFUSED.ALSO STATED THAT IF THEY WERE GOING TO STAY ON PROPERTY THAT SHE WOULD WAVE THE LATE FEES FOR SEPT. RENT AND PUT THEM IN A TEMP. UNIT UNTIL THEIR UNIT WAS REPAIRED. I SHUT DOWN RESIDENTS UNIT BECAUSE THERE WAS WATER IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, OPENED AN ELECTRICAL BOX FOR A/C/ AND WATER CAME OUT OF BOX ALSO PULLED FUSES OUT AND WATER CAME OUT. SHUT DOWN UNIT FOR 48 HRS. SO SYSTEM COULD DRY, RESIDENTS AND MANAGEMENT CAME TO AN AGREEMENT, MANAGEMENT LET RESIDENTS OUT OF LEASE AND RESIDENTS MOVED OUT. FOLLOW UP 48HRS. ALSO FOUND BALCONY ROOF ON UPSTAIRS UNIT,10 H, SUPPORTS BROKEN AND MAINTENANCE STATED THAT THEY WOULD BE MAKING REPAIRS 9/30/02, GAVE N.O.V. ON THAT ALSO 30 DAYS, T.F.D. REPORT IN FILE.
