| 11/05/2026 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | 735 pm - Arrived to scene and TFD had already left the scene. Contact with resident inside Unit 2014. I found the unit was flooded with water that made it all the way back to the bedrooms. There was a large section of drywall removed on the living room wall which is opposite of the washing machine off the kitchen. A PVC water supply line to the washer is cracked and portion of the pipe is now missing. It is apparent that this flooded the unit. There is a non metallic sheathed electrical cable running across the wall in this area. The cable has no signs of physical damage or cuts to the sheathing. I checked the electrical panel and found no tripped breakers. It also came to light that the plastic PVC plumbing line that should be connected to the pressure relief valve of the water heater to Unit 2013 is cracked and damaged and missing a portion of the pipe. A restoration company arrived to begin water extraction. -VM |
