| 10/21/2025 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | 435 pm - Trailer/mobile home fire at Space 5. Entire trailer has burned. The majority of the west exterior wall siding is removed. Majority of exterior, and interior wall structural members are heavily fire damaged. Electrical wiring sheathing has melted leaving bare and exposed conductors. Roof structural members are heavily fire damaged. The main electrical line at the panel to the circuit breaker box in trailer is fire damaged. Electric is turned off at main disconnect. I placed a padlock on panel. Gas is turned off at valve to property and valve to trailer (is not a SW gas meter.) Water is turned off at meter. There is a detached shed abutting the east part of trailer that also has fire damage. Called and spoke to property manager, and property owner. Both are unable to secure the hazardous structure from unauthorized entry. City contractor was called to fence off the burned out trailer. Trailer was posted with red tags - Unsafe to Occupy. Trailer shall be demolished or reconstructed with an Issued permit by the City of Tucson. -VM |
