| 10/16/2024 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | Property of 1915 W. Sindle Pl has been annexed on May 5th, 2023, to the City of Tucson limits. The owner of the property obtained a building permit from Pima County prior to being incorporated to the City of Tucson. The building permit is only for a single-family residence. Upon discovery there is a travel trailer set on the property and a 40 ft conex container without a permit or approvals from either the City of Tucson or Pima County. Placement of the container and the travel trailer will require submission of an elevation certificated and covenants. Regional Flood Control District will convey the elevation certificate and the completed Floodplain use permit to City of Tucson for their determination on compliance. The approved temporary power at this property has been altered in a hazardous manner without proper inspections or approvals. The City of Tucson request for power to be rendered safe by T.E.P. and a clearance has been requested to ensure power is reinstated once corrections are made in accordance with adopted code standards. The building has been posted unfit to occupy until the building is granted a certificate of occupancy. There are non-approved water tanks on the property being used to provide water to the structure under construction and the non-approved travel trailer. The property has an accumulation of refuse and debris on the property and curb area. The property owner was onsite during the inspection and has been made aware of the City of Tucson’s requirements and the need to correct. The owner acknowledged the issued notices and received a copy for his records. | |
| 11/21/2025 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | In Violation | Reviewed construction plans with Pima County, no water containers have been approved. Construction has not passed any intermediate inspections, no authorization to live within the building has ever been given. Verified 40ft storage container has been removed from the property. Pending removal of the two un-permitted water storage tanks. Unfit to occupy placard has been replaced from weather damaged. |
