ZCOM/ Gentle Ben’s has had a non operational elevator to get from there first floor to there second floor. *Owners/operators of elevators are required to maintain them and have them inspected. A.R.S. §23-491.02 requires an owner/operator to maintain safe and adequate conveyances and comply with State standards. Jurisdiction over elevators falls upon the State. Please contact Arizona Industrial Commission – Elevator Safety Section Tucson ADOSH Office at 520-628-5478 or Elevator Safety administrative line at 602-542-3313 to report this violation. Due to Code Enforcement not having jurisdiction, this case is Closed as Referred to the State.*
