CE-VIO0926-03843 Referred Code Enforcement Case ZCOM/ Gentle Ben’s has had a non operational elevator to get from there first floor to there second floor. *Owners/operators of elevators are required to maintain them and have them inspected. A.R.S. §23-491.02 requires an owner/operator to maintain safe and adequate conveyances and comply with State standards. Jurisdiction over elevators falls upon the State.
