09/25/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation 1238 PM - Fire occurred in the left half of the meter panel where meters for D, E, & F for Building 14 were housed. TEP and Cascade Electric on scene upon arrival. Meters for D, E and F were removed and the bussing that feeds those units was isolated to allow units A, B, & C to have power restored. Meter panel for all 6 meters will need to be replaced under permit. Per electrician, the feeder lines were not damaged and do not need replacement. Did condemn units D, E, and F and posted units with Red Tags Unsafe to Occupy. Property manager arrived on site and signed notice and order to secure the units. During inspection, also found junction box covers removed on all ground mounted outdoor light fixtures around Building 14 and some around Building 15. Building 15 has a light fixture that has a romex like wire ran to it above the ground and wires and wire nuts are exposed. Per maintenance on site, there was an issue with the fixtures not getting power. Repairs need to be made with a Permit for the Outdoor Light Fixtures, and the missing covers need to be replaced. -VM
11/26/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed 1206 pm - Verified all missing junction box covers have been replaced and weatherproof gaskets are installed. The above ground romex near Building 15 is removed. Violations abated, close case. -VM
