Tested outlet in reception area, one in room next to this, four in large room with sinks, one and toilet room. All tested as grounded correctly. There is a sink approximately 5 feet from an outlet. Did not observe any water leaking into the building. Checked the main pool pump room. North half has one outlet, tested and did not have power. South half did test a GFCI outlet, tested wired correctly. Tested the outlet on outside wall, facing pool. It tested correctly. Tested the GFCI, did cut power to the outlet. Unable to determine that the outlet near the sink in the nursery area has been modified or installed after codes required GFCI outlets. Maintenance supervisor states he has worked in this location for over 20 years and there have been no modifications to the room. Unable to verify any violations at this time. 10/19/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | In Violation | 1115 AM - Inspected the maintenance shop room with maintenance supervisor on site. Decking/sheathing is rotting, decayed, rotted. Holes into it and can see daylight out. At far north end, large hole into decking above a live electrical outlet with no cover. Had fifth breaker down, labeled icemaker, turned off and did isolate power to this. Advsd staff this breaker needs to remain off. Identified a new circuit with Romex dated to 2/23/17 running out to the roof. Breaker panel box has a missing breaker, opening into panel needs a cover. Found capped live wires with no junction box throughout the entire structure. Found one live uncapped wire hanging from the ceiling. Maintenance supervisor did cap the wire on site. Exterior wall above front door coming detached, can see daylight out of structure. Wall on the far north end is bowing and detaching from structure. Will issue a notice of violation. -VM |
