| 07/01/2025 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | Called out to site by TFD. Fire occurred in the north bay of car wash facility. Fire damaged car wash equipment. Per TPD, TEP was already on scene and disconnected power at the pole. Both disconnects at meter are off. The damage appears to be isolated to the car was equipment, as the bldg is block construction w/ metal framing. It is unclear if there is any damage to the electrical lines ran in this area on the wall, or if the fire reached hot enough temperatures to melt conductors inside the conduit. There is damage to conduit and exposed wires on the east side of the north and south walls of the north bay. Called and advised property owner. A reconnect permit is required for the electrical and a licensed electrician shall review the electrical system. If repairs are required, repairs shall be made with a permit. Did place caution tape around car wash bay. -VM | |
