07/07/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | Went to the unit and the AC is not working and has a portable in the unit. Did talk to the management and they are in the process of replacing the AC unit with new and should be in by Tuesday. The management did offer a second portable unit and they refuse the portable unit due to the cost of the electrical going up. I did mention that the unit has babies in the unit at this time. I did ask if the management will offer them a second unit and they said yes. Did call the tenants and did ask them if they want the second AC unit and they said yes. I did mention of the refusal before and they denied it. Did advise that the AC unit is being replaced and should be in by Tuesday. Will check on Wednesday. RV. | |
07/12/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | In Violation | The new AC split system was being completed on the install and was going to be started up. Did let the tenant know that it will take awhile on cooling the unit due to will have to cool the wall and the items in the unit. Did ask for the permit and the contractor will getting the permit. Will call the tenents tomorrow to check on unit working. Will be checking on the permit. RV. |
