A window on the west half of the structure is boarded/has been closed in. There is a shed, measured at 7 feet by 9 feet added to the rear yard with no regard for set back. The shed has electric wires and extension cords ran to it, powering a flood light and other unknown items. There is a non outdoor rated electric outlet attached to conduit which runs to the electric meter with damage to the outlet which could allow a finger to make contact with energized electricity, tested and is alive. Has extension cords plugged into it. Contact w owner and her son on site. Isolated power to the unsafe electric, it was turned off. Did advise needs to remain off. There is a rear window that has been closed off with blocks and a window air conditioner. -VM | |
| 10/11/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | In Violation | 227 PM - Trash and debris has been removed from the front yard. Large amounts of trash and debris in side and rear yards. Attempted contact at front door, no answer. Looked inside front window there are switches removed, electric wires sticking out of walls exposed, vent pipes disconnected, appears walls may have been removed, holes into walls, trash and debris scattered throughout the home. Found all circuit breakers have been removed, conductors wiring removed. Meter tested live at main disconnect, TEP was notified, and confirmed no active service. There is extensive amounts of dirt moved in rear yard. Hole in ground along west property line with submerged trash in the hole partially buried. Did post the home with Red Tag Unsafe to Occupy. While posting the home, a neighbor from the apartment across the street came out and said the owner's son took trash in the backyard with a tractor. -VM |
