03/20/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation At 718 PM, electrician from Eternity Electric LLC provided a determination that it is safe to restore power to the unit after checking the electrical system. Clearance was called to TEP and TEP restored power to the unit. Condemnation is lifted. Owner will still need to have water heater repaired or replaced WITH A PERMIT by a licensed contractor as this is a rental unit before the code enforcement case will be closed. -VM
03/20/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Arrived on scene at 413 pm and was informed by TFD that a pipe on a water heater busted causing the unit to flood. Inspected unit and found piping at the water heater safety tank appears to have ruptured. The pressure relief piping is dry inside. Unit has standing water. Electrical panel in this room has all breakers turned off upon arrival, however no visible water in panel box. Outlets in this room appear dry. Unable to determine if electrical lines have been in contact with water. Did have TEP cut power and unit was declared unfit to occupy. Electrical system is to be checked by an electrician prior to being energized. Water heater shall be repaired or replaced WITH A PERMIT by a licensed contractor as this is a rental unit. While on site, owner contracted with electrician working Unit 102 to work his Unit. -VM
