03/22/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed REVISITED SITE, KNOCKED ON DOOR BUT RECEIVED NO ANSWER, TRIED CONTACTING THE OCCUPANT AND LEFT A MESSAGE ASKING HE CONTACT ME ASAP. RECEIVED A CALL BACK. OCCUPANT STATED HE WENT A COUPLE OF DAYS GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH SECTION 8. SECTION 8 NEEDED RENTERS INSURANCE INFO AND IT TOOK A COUPLE OF DAYS TO GET THAT, IN THE MEAN TIME HE NO HOT WATER. SECTION 8 EVENTUALLY FOUND HIM HOUSING AND THENSTATED THEY WOULD BEGIN WORK ON MARCH 7TH AND WOULD TAKE APPROX 7 TO 10 DAYS. OCCUPANT STATED MUCH OF THE WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED, JUST SMALL TOUCH UP STUFF. OCCUPANT STATED HE AND HIS WIFE HAVE BEEN HAPPY WITH ALL THE WORK AND THE UNIT HAS BEEN KEPT CLEAN. I EXPLAINED TO THE OWNER THAT I HAVE BEEN BY TWICE TO FOLLOW UP BUT NO ONE HAS BEEN HOME, HE STATED ALL DRYWAL WAS REMOVED FROM THE DIVIDING WALL AND COPPER PIPE REPAIRED. DRYWALL REPLACED, TILE SUROOUND ON BATH REPAIRED AND REPLACED, FLOORING REPAIRED, NOTHING NEEDED TO BE DONE TO THE CABINET / LAZY SUSAN AND FENCING POSTS REAIRED. I EXPLAINED I WAS GOING TO MOVE FORWARD WITH CLOSING THE CASE DUE TO SECTION 8 RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIRS AND REPAIRS COMPLETED. INSPECTOR MOVES FORWARD WITH CLOSING CASE. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
