OSCCUPANT AND THE MAINTANENCE PERSON SHOWED UP AROUND THE SAME TIME. OCCUPANT ALLOWED ENTRY INTO THE HOUSE. OCCUPANT STATED YOU COULD HEAR WATER RUNNING IN THE DIVIDING WALL BETWEEN THE BATHROOM AND KITCHEN AREA. OCCUPANT STATED THEY HAD CONTACTED MANAGEMENT COMPANY APPROX 2 MONTHS AGO. WE COULD HEAR THE WATER RUNNING IN THE WALL. I ASKED IF THERE WAS A SHUT OFF VALVE TO THE WATER GOING INTO THE HOUSE, THE MAINTANENCE PERSON STATED THERE WAS BUT THAT IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND A SHUT OFF VALVE TO THE HOTWATER HEATER ALSO NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, VALVES COULD NOT BE TIGHTENED TO SHUT THE WATER OFF. I TRIED CONTACTING THE PROPERTY MANAGER BUT WAS UNABLE TO GET AHOLD OF THEM. I STATED ON A MESSAGE THAT THE WATER COULD NOT BE SHUT OFF, I COULD NOT FIND A METER FOR THIS HOUSE. I INFORMED THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY THAT IF THE WATER CONTINUED TO RUN THAT THE DRYWALL, TILE TO THE TUB/SHOWER AND CABINETS WOULD GET RUINED AND WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. I WAS LATER INFORMED THAT OCCUPANTS WERE SECTION 8, I INFORMED THE HUSBAND ON SATURDAY THAT HE WOULD NEED TO CONTACT SECTION 8 FIRST THING MONDAY MORNING SO THAT THEY COULD GET PLACED UNTIL ALL REPAIRS COULD BE COMPLETED. |
