The incorrect code edition are provided on the applicable codes section. Provide the correct the code editions that are adopted and enforced by the City of Tucson. 2. No egress plans have been provided. Provide through egress plans that indicate all the applicable code requirements of Chapter 10. 3. Provide a Building Code Data Legend on the Title Sheet. Include the following code information for each building proposed: • Occupancy Classification(s) • For Mixed Occupancy Buildings, state whether the “non-separated” or “separated” option was chosen from Sections 508.3 / 508.4. • Description of Use • Type of Construction • Sprinklers: • Stories • Height • Floor Area • Occupant Load • Justification to exceed allowable area in Table 503 (if applicable) • Justification to exceed allowable height or stories in Table 503 (if applicable) 1. Provide existing and demolition plans. 2. The corridor that serves that restroom and salon area is not size properly. Provide a correctly sized corridor in accordance with Section 1020.2. 3. The doorway to the storage is required to have landing. Provide a landing in accordance with Section 1010.1.6. 4. Provide clarification on the adjacent tenant to ensure proper separation is provided. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Provide mechanical data for the scope of this project, including but not limited to equipment schedules, basic mechanical notes, details (i.e. section through AHU, exhaust fan through roof, condensing unit at roof, curb support for equipment, etc…), and other information pertinent to the work. Prepare mechanical calculations to show that outside air and other ventilation requirements are met and balanced. Include a ventilation schedule to drawings. 1. The HVAC and exhaust systems for ventilation air distribution must have a means to provide the minimum air flow rate throughout the occupied spaces. The IMC indicates the ventilation systems must be balanced in accordance with IMC Table 403.3 for the minimum flow rate of outdoor air based on the rate per person in IMC Table 403.3 and occupants present that is capable of supplying and exhausting the airflow rates. 2. Exhaust outlets termination at minimum distances from property lines, openings, walls, roofs, combustible construction, and adjoining grade. Please provide dimensions on the plans confirming that the location of the exhaust outlets is in compliance with Section 501.3.1.. 3. There are ducts sizes not indicated, missing information, and/or undersized within the Mechanical submitted plans. Please provide ductwork that is sized pursuant to IMC Section 603.2. 4. Provide clarification if nail station will be provided. If so, provide the mechanical ventilation as required by Table 403.3. ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Denied 1. The electrical plans do not indicate the location of exit lighting or egress illumination. Provide the location of all required exit signage and egress illumination in accordance with Section 1008 and 1013. 2. Please provide a prescriptive path or provide COMcheck calculations for the lighting. All mandatory requirements must be identified on the plans for compliance.
