Metal Carport (1st Review)

TRANSMITTAL DATE: 10/18/2022

1. Provide a residential plot plan that meets the requirements found at: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/pdsd/forms/Residential_Plot_Plan_Requirements.pdf. This plan at a minimum shall:
a. Show the height for the proposed structure
b. Shall indicate the zoning of the parcel and all adjacent parcels.
c. Provide a lot coverage calculation

2. Detached accessory structures cannot be located within the front perimeter yard of a property (the width extending between the primary structure and the front property line). In order to have the carport in the front perimeter yard it would have to be attached to the primary structure.

3. Setbacks for the R-1 zone are as follows. Setbacks are measured from the structure to the property line.

Side and rear property line: 6’ or 2/3 * Height of the structure (whichever is greater)

Front property line: 20’ or 1.5 * Height of the structure (whichever is greater)
