From 2014 and on there is an addition that was built on the north and east portions of the main dwelling. Please provide permit documentation for these additions. If no permits are available include them in this next submittal. It appears that the carport addition on the east side of the property is not going to be meeting setbacks. 2.COMMENT: The minimum side and rear setback is the greater of six (6) feet, or two-thirds (2/3) the height of the structure. A Design Development Option (DDO) can be used to reduce the required setback if the structure is setback 1ft from the property line, if the structure is less than 1ft from the property line a variance will be required. 3.COMMENT:Additional comments may be forthcoming. Some of the details indicate 2x4 wall studs. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Obsolete reference. Revise plans (pg 2 of 6) truss loading note #5 to reference ICC. ICBO merged with ICC in 2003 and no longer exists. 2. Inconsistent seismic design category. Revise plans (pg 2 of 6) structural notes to reference seismic design category B. There are two sets of structural notes on this page, one reference seismic design category B and one references seismic design category C. 3. 2008 IRC - 314.2.2.
