Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Refer to Mechanical Drawing M2, Detail 102 shows Ceiling Mounted Exhaust Fans. The Detail shows, it is hung from the bottom chord of the steel joists. The loading on the joists is off panel point. Verify if any reinforcing is required to the existing steel joists. Submit a response letter addressing these correction items and provide bubbles on the revisions to the drawings. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. The occupant load is calculated incorrectly. Occupant load calculations are based on a space by space calculation in accordance with Section 1004.3. They gym has not been included in the calculations. Provide an updated occupant load calculation in accordance with Section 1004.3 and Table 1004.5. 2. Sheet G2: Provide clarification on the exit discharge portion of the egress path. It appears that central portion of the building is open to the air and not within the structure of the building. If this is true no further comment is to be made however, if it not true comply with the applicable requirements of Section 1028. 3. Sheet G2: Provide the travel distance to the existing restrooms. 4. Sheet G2: Provide clarification on adjacent tenants to ensure proper separation. 5. Cover page: Provide the required plumbing fixture calculations. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Conditionally Approved Approved/subject to field approval ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Approved PLUMBING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied First Plumbing Review: 1). Need to address Building review comments 1,3,5 that refer to occupancy load, travel distance to existing restrooms & drinking fountain & plumbing fixture calcs. before a complete plumbing review can be done -IPC 403.1, 403.5 2).
