Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Indicate on the drawings that the truss repairs will be inspected and approved prior to covering. Please be advised the inspector may require a professional sign-off for the repairs if needed. 2. Indicate on the drawings that fireblocking will be installed to cut off both vertical and horizontal concealed draft openings between stories and attic or roof area. 2018 IRC R302.11. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Clarify if the two interior walls shown in the kitchen to be removed are also part of the scope of work and any remodeling to occur. The scope of work on the title sheet only refers to repair of the damaged areas. 2. Indicate any wet or damaged insulation will be replaced in the ceiling and wall framing if applicable. If new insulation is to be installed, indicate a minimum of R13 in the exterior wall and R30 in the ceiling. 2018 IECC Table R402.1.2. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Conditionally Approved no mechanical work has been included in this submittal ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Denied 1. Clarify if there are any electric work as part of the scope due to the damage or the removal of the porch structure such as wiring or ceiling light replacement. 2. Clarify if there is existing electrical in the walls in the kitchen shown to be removed and provide an electrical plan for the work.
