Reference: Section 101.2, IPC 2018. 2. Provide water isometrics and waste and vent isometrics for the new plumbing work. Show the location of all cleanouts. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. 3. Remove all superfluous notes from the drawings (e.g. the gray water notes that apply only to one- and two-family dwelling units). Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. 4. Specify that all proposed plumbing fixtures shall be listed by a third-party certification agency as complying with the relevant standards. Reference: Section 303.4, IPC 2018. 5. The fixture drain serving an automatic clothes washer shall connect to a fixture branch that is at least 3 inches in diameter. Reference: Section 406.2, IPC 2018 6. Provide a specification for the floor drain located in the laundry room. The minimum outlet size for the floor drain is 3-inches. Reference: Section 413.4, IPC 2018. 7. If the showers do not have prefabricated receptors, provide details to show that the construction of the receptors complies with the requirements of Section 421.5, IPC 2018. 8. Clarify the hot water system. Seven tankless water heaters are shown in the laundry room, apparently piped in parallel, but a note located in the community eating space calls out a 40-gallon water heater. If the tankless water heaters are to be used, provide a specification for the units and a detail showing how they are to be plumbed. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. 9. Provide calculations showing how the water supply piping has been sized in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions (i.e. Wirsbo PEX). Reference: Sections 604.1 and 604.3, IPC 2018. 10. Plumbing note #16 calls for hot water returns. The distance from the hot water source to some of the fixtures exceeds 50-feet: is a recirculating hot water system to be installed? Reference: Section 607.2, IPC 2018. 11. An approved 2-way cleanout fitting is allowed to be used at the junction of a building drain and a building sewer; otherwise, cleanouts shall open to allow cleaning in the direction of flow. Provide manufacturers cut sheet. 6 Show disconnecting means for all mechanical and plumbing equipment. 7 Per the outdoor lighting calculations, revise the quantity of ‘A’ luminaires from 3 to 4 and revise the total lumens. Also verify that the lamp output color temperature does not exceed 3500K, as required per section 402.1 OLC. 8 Indicate what is new and what is existing where applicable.
