Indicate the type of building construction in the code data section on sheet a0.2. 2018 IBC table 601. 2. Update the drawing title for sheet a0.2 that indicates this is the “code floor plan for 2 thru 9”, only the common lobby floor is shown. 3. Include the storage and other area of the floor in the occupancy count for the required egress for the floor as a whole, not just the individual rooms. Indicate the total occupant load for the floor and its required cumulative exiting per 2018 IBC 1004.4. include the number of required exits, widths and indicate which exits are accessible on the drawings. 2018 IBC 1005,1006 4. The storage area is being modified and the path of egress is being altered by the addition of the new door in the previously open corridor. Indicate the exit path for this area as well. 5. Indicate the location of the exit signage and the emergency lighting with battery backup on the exiting plan sheet a0.2. Include the location of the existing emergency light outside of the egress doors per 1008.3.2. Coordinate the locations with the reflected ceiling and electrical plans. 6. Indicate the fire separation of one hour (sprinklered) will be maintained between the remodeled floor and the residences above. 2018 IBC Table 508.4. 7. Provide information on the existing wall construction that was previously the back of a storage units and is now the wall in the workroom/ break area/ toilet room. Verify that it is a 1 hour rated wall per 2018 IBC Table 508.4. 8. Note on the finish schedules sheet A3.2 that all newly installed interior finishes shall be rated a minimum of a class B (flame spread index 26-75, smoke developed index 0-450) in compliance with table 803.13 for A-3 occupancy.
