| 07/26/2022 | SAFEBUILT | 2ND PARTY REVIEW | REVIEW | Reqs Change | Activity Number: T22CM05241 GENERAL: Provide written responses to all review comments. Provide a complete plan set. Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Verify that the existing structure can accept the new weight of the mechanical units to be installed on the roof. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Update the sheet index on A0.1 to include MP1.0 and E2.1 and remove E5.0 from the list or include it in the set. Correct sheets A0.1 and A0.2 to show the sheet numbers on the drawings, they have been left off. 2. Update general notes 7 and 8 on sheet A0.1 to indicate the 2018 IBC, not the 2012. 3. Provide a site plan that shows the accessible exit paths on the exterior. It is unknown if the doors lead to a sidewalk, parking, a loading area or just the street. Indicate how the back exit on the North side leads back to a public way, this appears to open onto a private lot. 4. Indicate the new exit door on the north will be provided with a landing on the outside and provide construction details for its construction including dimensions. 5. Clarify if the existing garage doors are to remain on the south side of the building or if they will be replaced with new. It appears that two of the other doors are being replaced with new storefronts. The floor plan key notes on sheet 3.0 that point to the storefront (note 6) and garage doors (note 39) indicates the note were “not used”. This occurs on sheet A4.0 note 2 as well. Clarify what work will be done as part of this submittal for these areas and coordinate the plans. Provide details of the new doors that area to be replaced. 6. The new exit door to the rear on the north side is not reflected in all plans. Update the set accordingly, it is missing on the MEP drawings. 7. Update the plumbing fixtures on she a5.0 to match the plumbing fixture drawings on sheet P2.0 or coordinate to provide different fixtures that are in compliance with the low flow requirements. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Denied 1. Indicate the new north side exit door on the plans and show an exit light at this location. 2. Show the location of the existing emergency light outside of the egress doors per 1008.3.2 or provide new ones as needed. 3. Show the location of the main service panel and the other sub panels on the plans, only the new panels a and b are indicated. 4. Coordinate the location of electrical panel a and b with the architectural drawings. Sheet A3,0 indicates the panels on the outside wall, not next to the drinking fountain. 5. Clarify if the new outlets shown on the power plan on the garage doors will be installed to the sides, it does not appear there is enough room below the door. PLUMBING REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved If you require additional clarification regarding these comments, please contact Doris Benoit at doris.benoit@tucsonaz.gov |
