Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Conditionally Approved No structural modifications are included in this submittal BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. The floor plan on sheet A1.0 indicates the doors from the closet 125 and utility room 124 will swing into the egress corridor 136. Indicate the required width of the clear egress path and the door swing projections for corridor 136 on the drawings. Doors in any position may not reduce the required width of the egress path by more than one half. 2018 IBC 1005.7.1. 2. Provide an elevation or note the required accessibility heights and clearances for the high low drinking fountain located in the lounge 103. (It appears that the furniture layout may interfere with the required clear space in front of the unit.) MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Denied 1. Update the COM check on sheet E4.01 to indicate compliance with the 2018 IECC, not the 2012. Update the fixture counts so it matches the lighting fixture schedule on sheet E2.01. 2. Show the location of the existing emergency light outside of the egress doors or indicate a new one will be provided. 2018 IBC 1008.3.2. 3. Clarify the location for the switching or sensors for the lounge 103, reception 102, MA-1 113 and MA-2 122. 4. Clarify the location of the “night lighting” in the open areas. It is understood that the emergency lighting with battery backup are integrated into lighting fixtures A1, B1 and C1 however it is not known if these will provide lighting the hallway under normal conditions (not emergency). It appears these lights are switched and can be turned off. 2018 IBC 1008.2 PLUMBING REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved If you require additional clarification regarding these comments, please contact Doris Benoit at doris.benoit@tucsonaz.gov |
