Clarify how the design complies with this regulation (commonly referred to as "night lighting") or indicate why this section would not apply. Occupancy sensors can be used if desired instead of permanently illuminated fixtures.
• 1008.2. Illumination required. The means of egress serving a room or space shall be illuminated at all times that the room or space is occupied.
• 1008.2.1. Illumination level under normal power. the means of egress illumination level shall be not less than 1 footcandle at the walking surface.

1. This comment was not fully addressed. Zoning acknowledges that the mezzanine has be removed from the plans but under the “PR0JECT NARRATIVE” the mezzanine is still listed. COMMENT: mezzanine addition counts as an addition of square footage to a commercial use and therefor requires an approved development package for the site.
