Provide a separate demolition plan or show the removed wall(s) on the floor plan sheet A.1. The fire protection plan sheet FP2.0 indicates there was a demising wall in the carpentry area that was removed. 2. Coordinate the exiting plan sheet A.2 with the reflected ceiling and electrical plan for the locations of the exit signage and common paths of egress. The plans do not match. 3. Office 125 is indicated on the exiting plan sheet EP.1 as part of the required egress. Indicate the clear discernible path through the office to be maintained at all times and note that the door will not have locking hardware. 2018 IBC 1016.2. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Clarify if the existing painting and carpentry construction areas have existing exhaust fans. An exhaust system is required in areas where machines or equipment throw off dust or particles, odors, fumes, spray, gas, or smoke in such quantities so as to be irritation or injurious to health and safety. 2018 IMC 502.1. The electrical power plan E.2 indicates new electrical for air filter units in the carpentry area only, but no other information is provided to determine if they will be sufficient to provide a safe working environment. ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Denied 1. Show the location of all existing or new night lighting, emergency lighting and exit signage on the reflected celling and electrical plans. 2. Include the location of the existing emergency light outside of the egress doors per 2018 IBC 1008.3.2, or show a new one will be installed.
