1. Indicate the approximate location of the electrical line to be run form the house to the new garage on the site plan. Indicate the type of material (such as direct burial, PVC conduit) and its burial depth on the plans.
2. Note on the drawings that the garage will be provided with a separate means of disconnect. A disconnecting means for all conductors is required for the detached garage that is readily accessible and near the point of entrance. 2017 NEC 225.31.
3. Indicate all 15- and 20-amp outlets shall be tamper proof type. 2017 NEC 210.52.
4. Indicate GFCI protection will be provided for all receptacles located in the garage. 2017 NEC 210.8 (B).
